Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 26, 2015

CreditRepair.com, a leading provider of credit report repair services, announced today the launch of their first eBook, Student’s Guide to Credit. The publication offers young adults a complete overview of credit, presented in a highly digestible and engaging format. The book contains over 50 tips, written to educate and empower students to achieve the credit scores they deserve.

While young adults have a vague awareness of credit and the importance of a high credit score, many fail to understand the profound impact it can have throughout life. With the average credit score among 18 to 24 year-olds being 630 on a grading scale of 850, young consumers are earning a C at best with regards to credit.

The program also helps Northlanders build-up a savings account by taking out a loan that is repaid in monthly installments.

The full loan amount goes into an interest-bearing deposit account held at the bank, and when payments are complete the customer’s credit score should be improved and they will also walk away with more money due to accrued interest.

Why does my daughter keep getting turned down for her first credit card?

Why does my daughter keep getting turned down for her first credit card?
News from This is Money:

By Joanna Robinson

My 22 year old daughter, who has just completed her first year of teaching, recently applied for a credit card – and was refused.  As the only credit she has ever had is a student loan, this was of concern to her.

She subscribed to Experian to obtain her credit record, which proved that there was no problem, but that her credit rating was ‘satisfactory’ because she had only two items on which to rate her score – a current account and a Next store card.

She subsequently did this and applied for a different credit card – only to be rejected again.  She is a bright girl, with a degree, in her first year of a well-paid job and has never been in debt, apart from the student loan.
